Football Survival
The rules fit in one sentence: we show you two initials, you name any footballer with those initials. "MS"? Mohamed Salah works. So does Marcus Rashford's teammate you barely remember — any valid player counts. Keep answering, keep surviving.
How it works
- Two initials per round. Type any professional footballer that matches — over 30,000 players count as valid answers.
- Three lives. A wrong guess costs one. Typos don't — spelling close enough counts.
- It gets harder. Early rounds want famous names; deep rounds reward the football hipster who knows the Ligue 1 back four.
- Points pot per round. Stuck? Ask for help — clues, then letters — but every reveal shrinks the pot. Cash out or push on.
- Three free skips. Save them for the initials nobody alive can answer.
Why it's hard to put down: the game always accepts the player YOU thought of, not one "correct" answer. Your knowledge is the content — a Sunday-league fan and an encyclopedia both get a fair run, they just die in different rounds.
Tips from the leaderboard
- Think surnames first — the database matches full names, but a surname is usually enough to recall the rest.
- Build a mental squad of "initials bankers": common combos like JM, DS and AM have hundreds of valid answers.
- Don't burn help early. The pot pays most when you answer clean.
